STUDENT AND CHAPTER AWARDS

2009 STUDENT COMPETITION
student competition The Greening the Heartland Regional Conference is holding a competition based on anything and everything involving the environmental impact of “pizzas.” The entire process is available for analysis, recommendations, efficiencies, demonstrations in the pizza industry, including agriculture and livestock production, transportation, food processing, organic vs. non-organic, pizza making process, delivery, and waste by-products. The goal is to elevate the everyday activity of pizzas to a sacred level of awareness and a potential epiphany of changing the way pizzas are produced and consumed.
