Water/Energy/Wastewater Reducing and Recycling Technologies to Help the Environment |
Clint Elston -
Equaris Corporation
Bobbi Elston - Equaris Corporation |
The Equaris Corporation's Technologies have reduced the need for water by 40 to 98 percent, wastewater pollution to the environment by 95 to 100 percent, organic solid waste loading to landfills by 95 percent, and energy for hot water and radiant heating by 50 to 95 percent. Utilizing all of the Equaris Technologies, you can eliminate the need for piped water and sewers and drilled wells and septic systems--thereby making unbuildable lots buildable, while still keeping everybody working. |

Passive Solar Design and Thermal Mass |
John Fergus - E3 Coalition |
For many years passive solar design has been in the toolbox of architects and home designers. For most of that time, south facing windows have been tacked on to the common light weight home without calculating the effect of thermal mass. Yet to make the passive solar design work, the flywheel effect of a high mass home is essential. In this session, the presenter will show how to work with this need and how thermal mass can become part of the design of modern high performance homes. |
